The lobby of the Haas Art Center at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire is a large two story space...a space that needed a work of art to occupy it. It begged for something. So as a preview to my retrospective exhibition, Four Seasons/Four Corners, I made this work of cantenary lines that cross the space, just enough space from the floor and to the line that crosses above it. Tension and the smell of natural materials is this art.
