on the tidal shore of the Mississippi River south of New Orleans near the Studio-in-the-Woods is my Treasure Island is a site specific sculpture. . I created it with the sticks that I found in the nearby black willow woods. Some of them were lodged high in the trees. It is on the mud/sand shore that is wash by the high tide every day. I got up about 7 am and biked to the site to video tape the action of the water and my sculpture. A strong wind is blowing from the north.
